Ukrgasbank, one of the Top 20 largest Ukrainian banks, has implemented DeviceLock DLP Suite to protect the personal data of its customers and the corporate information against leaks.

The growing demands of the banking industry for information security, as well as wide use of removable data carriers by the employees, became the main incentives for the management of Ukrgasbank to decide on implementing DeviceLock DLP Suite data leak prevention software.

“For a company with a large – about 4,500 – number of employees, operating at the highly competitive market of banking services, the issue of protecting the confidential data of our customers and intellectual property is a priority. In order to obtain maximum security against potential data leaks through all possible data transfer channels, the bank resolved to implement DeviceLock DLP Suite with the full set of components. This allowed the Information Security Department to monitor the data transferred by the employees through the Internet, including IM, web mail, and social networks, as well as the data copied to removable media and sent to printers.
