NIKO Company Group Successfully Implemented DeviceLock to Prevent Data Leaks

In order to secure itself against possible leaks of confidential information, NIKO Company Group has successfully implemented DeviceLock, a solution providing control over the employees’ access to peripherals and input/output ports.

In his comment about the necessity of a product of this type, Andrii Demchenko, Head of the Information Technologies department at NIKO Company Group, said: “Information security has become one of the priorities in the operations of our company. We have reached the status in which a possible leak of confidential data may inflict colossal financial damage. Having started to use the DeviceLock Software, we made it impossible to perform unauthorized copying to removable media (flash drives, disks, or mobile devices) and printing, thus barring most of the ways for potential data leaks.

While choosing the product which would perform this task, the specialists of NIKO Copmany Group considered the software by various companies. The choice was made in favor of DeviceLock based on its excellent functionality, reputation of a market leader, and affordable price. Moreover, the tryout of the solution demonstrated its rather simple deployment and initial configuration; competent technical assistance was provided by the technical specialists of SPro, Ltd., a certified DeviceLock dealer in Ukraine.

According to the ranking published by Gvardiia Korporatsii [Elite Corporations] in 2008, NIKO Copmany Group was one of the Top 50 most valuable companies in Ukraine, being one of the leaders of the Ukrainian car market. The IT infrastructure of the group includes around 800 computers and servers controlled by Microsoft Active Directory.
